Along Came Polly
Along Came Polly is a 2004 American romantic comedy film written and directed by John Hamburg. Reuben Feffer (Ben Stiller) is an actuary who, since his job involves analyzing risk for insurance purposes, likes living life in complete safety and free from any unnecessary risk. As the film opens, he is celebrating his wedding to Lisa Kramer (Debra Messing), but promptly catches her having sex on their honeymoon with Claude (Hank Azaria), a French scuba instructor. After he returns he attempts to begin piecing his life back together. One night at the behest of his best friend - and fallen former teen actor - Sandy (Phillip Seymour Hoffman), he goes to an art gallery where he runs into an extroverted former classmate named Polly Prince (Jennifer Aniston). At the end of the night they make tentative plans to get together. Reuben and Polly begin dating, with her introducing him to activities he once wrote off as "too risky," such as eating at a Moroccan restaurant (Reuben suffers from Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and salsa dancing. The contrast between their two personalities creates comedy and conflict throughout the film. Meanwhile at work Reuben is attempting to assess Leland Van Lew

This one is hard to say whether it's worth your time or not. Some parts were a bit inappropriate and there was a lot of talk about sex in certain parts. However, on the other hand, Ben Stiller's character is awkward and that makes it hilarious at moments. I'd say it's worth a Redbox or watching on TV if you are a Ben Stiller fan. If you don't care much for Stiller, you won't miss much with this one.March 21st, 2013 · Details
As an actuary Ben Stiller is all about taking things safe. As part of his day job he uses a bit of software to determine the risk of just about anything. All that falls to the wayside when he falls for Polly. Watching him suppress his instincts to run and hide throughout these dates is enough to make you feel bad for the guy while chuckling on the inside at his misfortune.February 1st, 2013 · Details
