World War Z offers a suspense and, in my opinion, it delivers. I enjoyed the take this movie took on "zombies." Sure there are things you can pick at and find plot holes with, but looking at it from a story and entertainment perspective, it keeps you interested.
There is a considerable amount of violence in this movie and a series of scenes that aren't for the faint in stomach movie goers. The Bluray/DVD version has even more gore with the extended scenes than the theatrical version, so be prepared for that.
This movie actually portrays the power of family quite well. Brad Pitt plays a total family man who is sincerely concerned with his wife and children at all moments. He is natural in his role of portraying sincere concern for humanity in this movie.
Parents need not worry about sexual content or any f-bombs in this one. There are other swear words (but it's not excessive) and unfortunately among those are the Lord's name in vain. The biggest concern for parents will be the graphic imagery and mature nature of a worldwide epidemic striking.
